This Privacy Policy describes how Bavarian-RaceLabs LLC collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit boat-hin.com (the „Site“).
2. Information we collect
We collect minimal data. Specifically:
- Automatic server logs (collected by our hosting provider): IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp, referrer URL. Retained for up to 14 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Local browser storage (stays on your device,
never sent to us):

We do not require accounts, do not collect names or email addresses, and do not use cross-site tracking beyond what Google AdSense does after your consent.

4. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set first-party cookies for tracking. The only cookies you will encounter come from Google AdSense, and only if you click „Accept all“ in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer.
5. Advertising partners
Google AdSense — provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your interests and prior visits to other websites. To opt out of personalized advertising from Google, visit Google Ad Settings.
Affiliate partners — we display banners linking to boat marketplaces, insurance providers, charter companies, etc. These banners are plain HTML links and set no cookies on our Site. Once you click through, the partner's privacy policy applies.
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:

We do not sell or share personal information in the sense of the CCPA. Personalized advertising via Google AdSense may, depending on configuration, be considered „sharing“ under the CCPA. You can opt out at any time by selecting „Essential only“ in our cookie banner or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor automatically.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
boat-hin.com is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all traffic to and from the Site. We do not store any data we collect from your browser on our servers (technical server logs are kept only by the hosting provider for a short period).
9. International users
boat-hin.com is operated from the United States and hosted on a German server. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred across borders. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
European Union (GDPR): EU residents have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Cross-border transfers to the U.S. are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable) or by Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us at the email above to exercise any rights.
